Kamm & Kante is the hair salon on Josefstrasse in Zurich’s District 5. We cut, colour and style for women, men and children – honest advice, precise cuts and an espresso on the house.

Frequently asked questions.
How can I book an appointment?
The easiest way is online via the “Book now” button – around the clock. You can also call us on 044 271 42 42 during opening hours or drop by.
Can I come by without an appointment?
Walk-ins for men’s cuts and beards are usually possible on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For women’s cuts and colour we recommend booking.
How can I cancel or move an appointment?
Free of charge up to 24 hours before, via the link in your confirmation email or by phone. For later cancellations or no-shows we charge 50 % of the service price.
How long does a balayage take?
Allow about three hours including toner, care and cut. With very long hair it may take a little longer.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. A 15-minute colour consultation is free and can be booked online as “Colour consultation”.
Do you run courses?
Yes: “Love your curls” (CHF 89), “Updos at home” (CHF 120) and the “Beard care evening” (CHF 59), each on Monday evenings in the salon with 6 to 8 places. Sign up online up to 24 hours before the start; full courses have a waiting list.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cash, debit and credit cards and TWINT. Gift vouchers are available in the salon.
Which languages do you speak?
German, Swiss German, English, French, Italian and Turkish.
Is there parking?
There are a few blue-zone spaces right outside the salon. Hardau car park is a few minutes away. We recommend coming by tram 4, 13 or 17.
